I found Physio 7 just through a Google search, when I tore my calf muscle playing tennis. The reviews were spot on! Chris was brilliant and so knowledgeable. He assessed my injury quickly, came up with a treatment plan and was really patient explaining how we were going to get me fit again. I was given great advice, stretches and exercises to do between sessions and made progress every week. I felt that I was in very safe hands and highly recommend Chris at Physio7.

After the first appointment, the reduction in pain made me realise how much pain I had been in for the previous 3 years. Over the following weeks, Chris gave me a number of exercises to complete and I now control any residual twinges with these exercises. If only I’d known I just needed some manipulation I would have done it years ago

The running assessment with Chris was brilliant. He came up with lots of ideas and techniques to improve my running style. When I mentioned that I had a dodgy calf he suggested different ways of strengthening the area rather than just dealing with the pain. Very impressed!

After 6 months of zero progress at a private physio clinic employed by the NHS, I was
basically told to get used to living with constant back pain. This left me with a very cynical view of physiotherapy, and I did live with the pain for 3 more years. After seeing my quality of life gradually worsen, friends and family persuaded me to give physio another try, so I contacted Chris.

I went to the first appointment as a total sceptic, but am very pleased to have been proven wrong. After taking some details on my pain, Chris performed a thorough visual and physical examination of my lower back and identified and area of tightness. Chris gave me some stretches to do and we made an appointment for the following week. The stretches were very painful at first, but after just 5 days I could feel a definite improvement. 10 or so sessions with Chris over 6 months and I am now completely pain free for the first time in years. I’m now back to strength training and am looking forward to doing martial arts again.

After years of near constant pain I still catch myself flinching every now and again expecting a huge jolt of nerve pain from my lower back, and being pleasantly surprised when it doesn’t occur.

I've already recommended several people to Physio7 because they are that good. What I like is the attention to detail, the open and honest conversation they offer around treatment and of course their delivery. I feel comfortable and in very safe hands.

I have some very tough personal goals. Chris manages to fuel my belief in my body and offers a treatment according to what my body needs in order for it to achieve the things I want it to achieve. He always shows a genuine interest, he puts my mind at rest when he shares his knowledge around injury and he always follows my events and contacts me after they have finished to offer feedback on the results. Chris has been my physio for many years and in my opinion is the best around. Prior to Chris I’d visited a number of physio’s in the Ipswich area but none had been able to deal so effectively with such a range of injuries as he has. I visited Physio7 and after 2 sessions of physio manipulation, plus doing the exercises I was taught, I was free from the lower back pain I had since the accident. I had a further 3 sessions which cleared up the whiplash injuries to my neck, and now I am back to where I was prior to my accident. Thank God!

My first appointment at Physio7 involved an assessment to confirm the injury and rule out other possible reasons for the pain I felt when running. This included a biomechanical assessment and video analysis of my running style.
Once confirmed, I booked in for regular shin and calf massages to release the tightness in my lower legs, and specific exercises and stretches to correct my running stance. The treatment got rid of my shin splints completely and on the 17th April I completed my first London Marathon, shin splint free.

Chris quickly diagnosed the root cause of my pain and reassured me that it could be put right. Over the course of a handful of sessions, Chris had realigned the base of my spine, relieved the pain and given me a number of exercises to strengthen the area, thereby giving me peace of mind that there would be no relapse. In the months leading up to my seeking treatment, I had limited [neck] movement and my neck muscles had tightened up so much that my neck was shortening and my shoulders were hunched over. Within 3 weeks of my first visit, I had started to notice some real improvements, and so did my family. After those first 3 weeks, I felt like I was walking on air, I could move without pain and I had a much longer neck again, I could walk around with my head held high! There was also the added bonus that the treatment also reduced the strength and frequency of the migraines I had been getting.... I will definitely be recommending Physio7 to my friends and family.

I had a few issues, one of which related to my Achilles’ tendon. Chris assessed my problems and after a few sessions I was pain free and able to continue with my usual gym routines.
