I LOVE being active, but hate being injured or debilitated...... Chris is my "go to guy" when I need help recuperating or rehabilitating.
He has fixed several different ailments on many occasions, and over the years I have learned the importance of seeking help as soon as possible after the injury occurs.
Chris has consistently given swift, accurate diagnosis, on the spot treatment, provided a recovery plan, follow-up enquiries and advice.

In the months leading up to my seeking treatment, I had limited [neck] movement and my neck muscles had tightened up so much that my neck was shortening and my shoulders were hunched over. Within 3 weeks of my first visit, I had started to notice some real improvements, and so did my family. After those first 3 weeks, I felt like I was walking on air, I could move without pain and I had a much longer neck again, I could walk around with my head held high! There was also the added bonus that the treatment also reduced the strength and frequency of the migraines I had been getting.... I will definitely be recommending Physio7 to my friends and family.

After 6 months of zero progress at a private physio clinic employed by the NHS, I was
basically told to get used to living with constant back pain. This left me with a very cynical view of physiotherapy, and I did live with the pain for 3 more years. After seeing my quality of life gradually worsen, friends and family persuaded me to give physio another try, so I contacted Chris.

I went to the first appointment as a total sceptic, but am very pleased to have been proven wrong. After taking some details on my pain, Chris performed a thorough visual and physical examination of my lower back and identified and area of tightness. Chris gave me some stretches to do and we made an appointment for the following week. The stretches were very painful at first, but after just 5 days I could feel a definite improvement. 10 or so sessions with Chris over 6 months and I am now completely pain free for the first time in years. I’m now back to strength training and am looking forward to doing martial arts again.

After years of near constant pain I still catch myself flinching every now and again expecting a huge jolt of nerve pain from my lower back, and being pleasantly surprised when it doesn’t occur.

After the first appointment, the reduction in pain made me realise how much pain I had been in for the previous 3 years. Over the following weeks, Chris gave me a number of exercises to complete and I now control any residual twinges with these exercises. If only I’d known I just needed some manipulation I would have done it years ago

My first appointment at Physio7 involved an assessment to confirm the injury and rule out other possible reasons for the pain I felt when running. This included a biomechanical assessment and video analysis of my running style.
Once confirmed, I booked in for regular shin and calf massages to release the tightness in my lower legs, and specific exercises and stretches to correct my running stance. The treatment got rid of my shin splints completely and on the 17th April I completed my first London Marathon, shin splint free.
